I'm a freelance illustrator, musician (under the name Curxes) and history hoarder based on the Isle of Wight, UK, with a love of budgerigars, pointless music trivia (mainly learned from VH1's 'Pop-up Video' and working in record shops), treasure hunting and abandoned buildings.
I started my shop in July 2014 (originally on the marketplace Etsy) as a place where I could draw and draw upon these interests. Since opening my shop, my music-themed occasion cards have gone into galleries, record shops and book stores worldwide. You can read about that sort of thing in the 'Press' and 'Stockists' sections.
If you're feeling sociable, you can also stop by and say hello on Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. In fact, please do.
I support the #JustACard campaign. Additionally, I am proud to be a member and support the aims and objectives of the trade organisation ACID (Anti Copying in Design). All Roberta Fidora / The Fidorium designs are supported by ACID through their Copyright & Design Databank and ACID Marketplace.
